Concept

All good packaging begins as a great idea or inspiration found by scouring the internet. If this sounds like you then perfect! That’s a great place to start. Every product is based on a concept so gather your ideas together and let’s get started!

We at MILC Network are big enough to handle your specific requirements and yet small enough to provide the attention to detail and service which so many fail at and take for granted. Our dedicated staff will partner with you from initial product development and presentation of local and globally sourced packaging options through to delivery.

Brief

Our experienced team are here to help you make it happen! If it's your 1st or 10th time designing packaging, MILC Network is here to help guide you in the right direction. Before we begin sourcing, there’s a bit of information we will need from you to ensure we get it right.

Send our team any inspirational images or samples and information regarding quantity required, colour, material, size, closure type and neck size, decoration method (label or sticker) and your lead time/launch date.

Step 3

Sourcing & Design

Now that we have your brief, we’ll search high and low to find you a product that meets your expectations, deadline and budget. MILC Network has global sourcing resources and a range of fantastic suppliers that we work closely with to deliver an innovative and great quality product that meets your timeframe and budget.

We want to provide you with packaging that is on brand so if we can’t find it, we’ll make it! Our team will coordinate mold development and liaise directly with the manufacturer to provide technical advice and troubleshoot any complexities.

Step 4

Sampling

MILC Network will deliver samples to you and your team to ensure you are happy with the result. In some cases, we can even provide samples with your custom colour and print!

Before we proceed to production, we will also send samples to your contract manufacturer for stability testing. We will make packaging recommendations based on the product you are developing however we don’t ultimately know what your formula is made of. Please note that it is your responsibility to test your packaging and conduct stability trials to ensure your product works well with our packaging.

Production

Once samples have passed stability trials and all artwork is approved, the next step is to proceed with mass production. Lead times vary depending on the product and where it is sourced from.

At MILC Network, we believe communication is extremely important. We keep in close contact with both our clients and suppliers during production to ensure everything is delivered on time and as ordered.

Shipping & Logistics

MILC Network offers a turnkey solution for your packaging which allows us to manage the back of house and allows you to focus on growth. We deliver stock to your contract manufacturer direct from our warehouse which means you receive finished product without even touching your stock!

MILC Network assists with road, sea and air freight services to get your products delivered on time and in full. We offer local, domestic, interstate and international courier services including fast same day service when required, our freight charges are clearly defined and agreed upon by both parties before any logistic arrangements begin.

MILC Network also offer a complete warehousing solution equipped to handle all facets of your inventory management requirements.

What are the Minimum Order Quantities for custom packaging?

Custom packaging is available for bulk orders only, typically starting at a minimum order quantity of 5,000 units. If you have a specific style or colour in mind, get in touch with our team at support@milcgroup.com.au and we will walk you through the options, lead times and pricing
